Our terms and conditions for bespoke jewellery and services

  • Design Confirmation: All custom designs, material selections (metal type, stone choices), and specifications must be approved by the Client in writing (whether that be in email or social media messaging, or a signed contract) before physical production begins.

  • Modifications: Any changes requested by the Client after production has commenced, may incur additional material / labor fees and may extend the estimated completion date. Any changes made by the Jeweller during production, will be confirmed with the Customer prior to completion.

  • Sizing and Specifications: The Client is solely responsible for providing the correct ring size at the time of ordering. This can be done using The Flux Studio ring sizer, however difference in fitting upon completion is not our responsibility due to how much the body / fingers can change in size for different reasons.

  • Resizing Fees: If a ring needs resizing due to an incorrect size provided by the Client, a resizing fee will apply, plus any applicable shipping costs. Please note that certain intricate designs or full-band stone settings can not be resized.

  • Payment Terms: Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% or your preferred % is required before design work begins or ordering of any materials.

  • Final payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full or upon collection / shipping of the completed article.

  • If recycled jewellery is used physically such as a family heir-looms or old jewellery, please note a majority of the time, new casting grain or metals have to be added to keep the purity of the metal tot he correct carat. On some occasions, mixing metals from jewellery can reduce the carat for example, mixing 18ct gold with 9ct gold jewellery. We are not responsible for a reduction in carat if the melting of multiple metals is required.

  • Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations: Handcrafted and Custom work: Because custom and bespoke pieces are handcrafted to specific requirements, all custom orders are final sale. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for a change of mind once production has begun or after the piece has been collected and a design / completion has been agreed.

  • Cancellations: If a custom order is cancelled by the Client before physical production begins, the non-refundable deposit will be retained to cover administrative time, design work, and sourced materials.

  • Nature of Handcrafted work: The client acknowledges that handcrafted jewellery may exhibit slight variations, subtle imperfections, or unique characteristics inherent to handmade artistry and natural gemstones. These veriations are not considered defects, but rather proof of the items bespoke nature.

  • Warranty & Repairs: We offer a 1 year warranty against the manufacturing defects from the date of collection. This does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, stone loss due to impact or damage, neglect, or modifications made by another Jeweller.
