Our Story

My journey with Jewellery began in St, Albans, Hertfordshire approximately 15 years ago. Here, I first fell in love with the foundations of Art and Design, working and crafting with any materials I could get my hands on including clay, fabrics, inks and metal. This passion led me to the coast of Hastings, East Sussex, where I earned my BA Hons Degree in Arts: Contemporary Crafts Practice. During my time studying with the University of Brighton, I fell in love with metal work, spending all day and night in the studios learning my craft. This naturally led me to starting a small Jewellery company selling contemporary jewellery using precious metals such as Silver, Gold and Platinum. For six years, I poured my heart into my business - until an unexpected attack left me with a long road to recovery, forcing me to close my doors.

After a decade out of the Art industry, I finally have the dexterity and movement back in my hands to continue crafting handmade jewellery, and doing what I enjoy most. The Flux Studio is the result of over 15 years of experience, successes, failures and persistence. I believe that handmade jewellery should never compromise on quality or creativity, regardless of the challenges faced in the making. Today, I specialise in crafting bespoke wedding rings from my home studio, offering a space where couples can join me for workshop days to forge their own symbols of commitment. Every single piece of Jewellery that leaves my studio, is a piece of Art work and will always receive my full dedication and passion.
